My Top 5 Favorite Travel Destinations

Origin:

The Trip finally made it out of the group chat! Get out there and
explore, and experience other cultures outside of your own. Travelling is my
interest because life is short and I want to spend my time on this earth and
collect memories and experiences rather than having material objects that I can
hold on to. Going away to unwind after stressful academic years helps my mental
health a lot and I often try to disconnect and drop everything about school or
work when I'm on vacation to take in the moment and come back more productive
and happier after recharging and being rejuvenated.

Singapore: Merlion's Den

What I've enjoyed the most in Singapore was Universal Studios. As a movie buff it was fun seeing DreamWorks characters and sceneries in person and the rides and plays there that are based on movies that I grew up with were very fun. My uncle used to work there so he toured us and showed us Marina Bay Sands. We strolled down there and ate local food and it was really fun seeing how disciplined the people there were. They obeyed the strict rules of their law and they had a great public transportation system and were way more advanced than our country.

Hong Kong: Happiest Place On Earth

Walking along the busy streets at night in Hong Kong and checking out their night market was what my family did the most. I also observed that that country was very urbanized and had plenty of skylines and buildings. Disney Land was such a great experience though it is one of those places that I want to come back to because something about it makes me feel so happy and heals my inner child. I wasn't really big on Disney as a kid because I liked Cartoon Network more, but watching the night fireworks display at the castle where different Disney songs were playing back to back and a parade of different characters made me feel such joy that I never felt before. A funny story also was that me and my mom almost got lost and stuck inside the theme park because when they announced that it was 10 minutes before closing, my mom was taking photos at Pandora. And for a second, the thought of being trapped in an amusement park at night with a lot of animatronics was terrifying but we eventually found the exit and the guards let us out though.

Vietnam: Scoot your way around

Vietnam was very uneventful for me and it was probably a country that I remember the least of but what I found fascinating though was the use of motorcycles and scooters. So many people used it as a way of transportation instead of using a car or taking the bus, or the train. And an interesting thing is that you can rent a scooter there and not have a license. A lot of bachelor tourists who travel solo find it more convenient to get to places and we traveled as a family so we didn't get to do this but a lot of the other Filipino tourists there did.

Brunei: Bandar Seri Begawan

The kingdom of Brunei was very tranquil. The people there were incredibly
religious, the TVs at the hotel stopped broadcasting during their time of
prayer and everyone dropped what they were doing to pray. That country was so
peaceful and their mosques were so beautiful and it felt very solemn and it
felt like Muslims were way more religious than Christians or at least from my
point of view. It may be the reason why their country is blessed and rarely
gets natural disasters.

Tagaytay: Close To Home

Going to Tagaytay for family birthdays and holy weeks has been a tradition in my family and it never gets old for me. We usually stay at a hotel and bond with each other and it is something that I always cherish because that's the only time that we stop our studies and or jobs to be with each other so it is a memory that I always enjoy.

Summary:

After I graduate one of the things that I want to tick off my bucket list is to be able to say that I went to all seven continents in the world. So far, I've only been out of the country in Asia but I've never left the continent. But from my travel experiences, I want to bring my family to other countries that we've never been to because Africa, Europe, and Australia are just some of the many dream destinations that I want to go to. The world is a massive place that we have the opportunity to explore.
